It’s not the city or it’s elected officials, it’s the financial system, which has been defined by bankers. It’s the bankers that print money to finance those skyscrapers. MONEY the exchange of value between PEOPLE is controlled by banks. And the only way to print more money according to these pro-bank policies is to increase the value of assets… the houses they are tearing down are replaced by more valuable skyscrapers. Low interest rates on loans are not meant to produce more jobs for PEOPLE they simply increase the likelihood of another skyscrapers displacing the poor. We have to call out the enemy of the people, the enemy of humanity, it’s the banks and their privatized money system. The only reason it is this way is because we are letting them get away with it. Simple engineering techniques applied to economics will put people first and the banks last but if the banks control the monetary policy no chance of that happening. Politicians treat economics like it’s some holy grail but nothing effects our lives more then the words (they are only WORDS) that define monetary policy.
